"If you are a debtor in Michigan with an underwater home, you’ll want to give Alivia a call. A former in-house counsel at a large bank, she understands the process from the bank’s perspective, and therefore has the unique ability to negotiate favorable settlements for her clients. I live out of state and have a six-figure salary, but with Alivia’s help, I settled a mortgage debt on my Michigan residence with 2 lender/mortgagees for an out-of-pocket contribution of about 3% of the total amount owed. Great job, Alivia!"
"We retained Alivia when going through a mortgage refi. She and her staff are excellent. They kept us informed and encouraged us to contact them every week either by e-mail or phone so we would be kept up to date. They always returned our calls and answered all our questions and where able to shave many points from our interest rate and got our 2nd mortgage down to a fraction of what we owed."
"I called Attorney Arabo after getting sued for a debt. She immediately returned my called, setup an initial meeting, took the time to explain everything (the contract, process, payments, etc.) to me, and never pressured me into signing with her. However, I felt so comfortable with her, as I never needed a lawyer before, that I did employ her services. She handle the case with professionalism and integrity, ask me to stay in contact with her and assistant (I chose email), and I had a very favorable result because of her work. I highly recommend. Hopefully I never need her services again (settling a debt), but if I do, I wouldn’t hesitate to use her."
“Five long years battling Ocwen mortgage company, who kept trying to foreclose on us even after they had approved a loan modification..found Alivia on NOLO and it was definitely a God send. From my first call to her till finding out we had finally got them to cooperate and modify our loan. It was finally OVER! We can rest at night our was saved. Alivia is very personable, sweet and warm. She is also encouraging however she is truthful and will not sugar coat your situation or her ability to help resolve it. This is exactly what we needed. Someone to give us answers but truthful ones. I can’t say enough about her skills and ability to work the law on behalf of the consumer and get justice that is required. She is worth every penny and more for her legal counsel. You will not regret hiring regardless of your outcome she gives you the proper advice to move forward.”
“After doing an extensive amount of homework in order to find an attorney that could successfully negotiate a short sale on my home, I was fortunate to find Alivia. I was relocated for work and severely under water on my home. My mortgage was with a smaller bank, and in turn, not as willing to agree to a short sale. Alivia did an awesome job with everything and only discussed the important things with me. At first I was concerned with this, but as I got to know her, I arrived at 100% trust in her which allowed me sleep comfortably at night. I also quickly determined that integrity and respect were top on her list. She made it very clear right from the start that everything would be black and white with absolutely no grey areas in between. Keep up the good work Alivia…”
